Yankees on YES Subscription Access FAQ
1. What are the eligibility requirements for purchase of Yankees on YES live game streaming?
Purchase and subsequent use of the Yankees on YES live game streaming is currently available to: (1) any Optimum Online customer who receives the YES Network on iO TV; (2) any Verizon FiOS TV customer who receives the YES Network; or (3) a Roadrunner High Speed Online customer who receives the YES Network on Time Warner Cable; (or) (4) a Blue Ridge Communications ("Blue Ridge") Digital Cable and High Speed Internet customer who receives the YES Network (each, a "Qualified Customer") and activates ("Activates") his or her subscription by either (a) entering his or her valid ID and Password issued by Optimum Online, Verizon FiOS TV or Time Warner Cable via the activation form within forty-eight (48) hours after (i) purchase or (ii) the first live streaming game is provided through Yankees on YES in each MLB Season, whichever is later, or (b) by having his or her eligibility confirmed by Blue Ridge within forty-eight (48) hours after purchase ("Activation"). If you are an eligible Optimum Online, Verizon FiOS TV or Time Warner Cable customer, you will be prompted to Activate your subscription via a confirmation page at the conclusion of the purchase process and in an email dispatched following your purchase. If you are an eligible Blue Ridge customer, Blue Ridge will confirm your eligibility and Activate your subscription. Please be sure to Activate your subscription via the confirmation page or immediately upon your receipt of your Activation email, so that you can begin watching LIVE games as soon as the YankeesÂ’ season starts and avoid any service interruption or termination. Please note, if you purchase as part of a presale, before live streaming games are accessible through your subscription, you must Activate through your Activation email. After you Activate your subscription and your broadband provider is able to verify your status as a Qualified Customer, your account Activation process will be complete.
You are required to maintain your status as a Qualified Customer in order to ensure your uninterrupted access to your subscription. After you purchase, Activate and periodically during the term of your subscription, your broadband provider will verify your status as a Qualified Customer and if you are determined to no longer be a Qualified Subscriber, your service may be interrupted or terminated. In such event, the circumstances under which you will be entitled to a refund are set forth in FAQ #s 4 and 5 of the Billing Information FAQs.
2. How do I access HD Quality Video?
If a game is streamed in HD, you may receive an HD quality picture with a subscription to Yankees on YES, installation of our NexDef software, and an Internet connection with consistent bandwidth of at least 3 Mbps. NexDef enables Yankees on YES subscribers to view HD Quality video streams, and the ability to pause and rewind live games. For an optimal viewing experience we recommend that you install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.
3. Do I have NexDef?
You can see if NexDef is installed by running our NexDef Detector. Within the Yankees on YES Media Player, you can also see if it is installed by attempting to access HD Quality streams or live game DVR Functionality.
Alternately, you can download NexDef from the Yankees on YES Download Center.
4. Where do I download NexDef?
Whether you have a Mac or PC you may install NexDef from the Yankees on YES Download Center. NexDef enables Yankees on YES subscribers with the appropriate software and Internet connection speed to view HD Quality video stream (where available), LIVE game DVR functionality, and more.

6. How do I access a live game with my subscription?
To find the day's schedule of live games, from Yankees on YES, click on the Video Tab.
Once the game broadcast goes live, a "YES-HD" link will appear in the Media Center. Click on the "YES-HD" link for the game that you would like to watch.
Clicking on the link for the game will open a separate window with the media player and ask you to log in. Once you have logged in, the game will begin to play.
All Yankees on YES games offered within the Service will be blacked out outside of the YankeesÂ’ home television territory and will not be accessible if you attempt to access them from outside of such territory. If a game is blacked out in an area, it is not available for live game viewing. These blackout restrictions apply regardless of whether the Yankees are playing at home or away.
7. How do I install Adobe Flash Player?
You can install Adobe Flash Player here.
Windows users, keep in mind that Internet Explorer requires an installation separate from the installation using Firefox, Chrome or other browsers. If you use multiple Internet browsers you will need to install Adobe Flash Player separately, one time for Internet Explorer and one time all other Internet browsers.
For an optimal viewing experience we recommend that you install the latest version of Adobe Flash Player.
8. How do I access my subscription?
You may access your subscription on any computer device (e.g., PCs, netbooks, laptops) capable of streaming live game video.
9. May I share my account with others?
No. Sharing of your username and password is strictly prohibited.
10. I am trying to access a game and I am getting an error message that I am already logged in on another computer, what should I do?
In rare cases, customers have forgotten to log out of their account on one computer and have tried to log in again on a separate computer. Since sharing of a single username and password is strictly prohibited, you will get an error message. If you receive such an error message, please contact Customer Support toll free in the U.S. at 866-446-8254 (Mon-Fri 9am-6pm ET) or email yankeesonyes@yankees.mlb.com.
11. I tried to log in to view a game and received a message telling me that I have logged in too many times, or am logged in on multiple computers, what should I do?
Please make sure that other people are not using your account. If you have shared your account information with other people, then your account may be restricted or terminated and further enforcement action may be taken. If it is possible that others are accessing your account, you should change your password.
The best way to prevent this error from occurring is to log out every time you are finished watching a game by clicking the "Logout" button. The next time you would like to watch a game, click on the link to load the game, and you will be prompted to log in.
If you receive this error message and are sure that no one else is using your account, log out, close all of your open browser windows, then re-launch your browser, navigate to Yankees on YES live game streaming and click on the game you would like to watch, where you will be prompted to log in again.
